The idea is to elimanate 'www' from subdomains since thats the widely used form of subdomains and may be considered the standard. (Although <a href="http://tools.ietf.org/html/1034" rel="nofollow">RFC 1034</a> doesn't specifically restric the preceding 'www' infront of subdomains). Preceding 'www' is included in all the top-level domains, once again its considered the standard. Alphabetically sorted list may not be so very alphabetical in this case, yeah. So i'll keep this personally logged until further discussions breed on the development and design of the new version. In the meantime, visual designers can begin work on the design and usability along with the new features for the new version.
